Called to the Bar 1995

I graduated in Chemistry in 1983 and spent approximately 9 years working in aspects of electrical systems design and sales, industrial contracting and construction project management. In 1991 I decided to train for the Bar and in 1994 I obtained my degree in Law. I was called to the Bar in 1995 and from 1996 I practiced from 11 Old Square, Lincoln's Inn before moving to the South West in May 2001 and to Rougemont Chambers in 2004.

My practice has always been in non-family civil law and has focussed around those areas which are described in this site, although I do occasionally cover other areas including, for example, some aspects of real property law.

Apart from the law and my family my main interest is in classic cars, particularly American cars of which I have owned over a dozen (I lose count). If you have been to my links page you may already have gathered this. My interest is rather hands-on and I have rebuilt several vehicles. If you would like to see my current projects click this link: Counsel's cars.
